Slow oxidizer

Slow oxidizer memerlukan lebih tinggi peratus carbohidrat daripada fat and protein
60% carbo
25% protein
15% fat
bermakna high carbo, low fat..agak bertentangan dengan fast
The best protein for slow are low purine proteins sebab ia low in fat
cara masak for slow is..stim stim, bakar bakar, sup sup sebab nak conformkan hanya 15% fat requirement...slow tak memerlukan fat yang tinggi dalam diet sebab high fat protein akan slow downkan rate of oxidation, which is the worst thing for people yang dah sediakala slow oxidider...

Contoh ideal low purine protein
egg whites,chicken breast,ikan ikan, low fat dairy products, tauhu,tempeh

Contoh ideal carbo

Grains
Rice - whiite, brown, wild, barley,corn,oat,couscous

Vege
Low starch asparagus,brocolli,cabbage, cauliflower,
celery, cucumber, dark leafy greens,garlic,kailan,mushrooms,bawang,bell peppers,bayam,tomato
Medium starch - terung, bendi, labu kuning + air, zuchinni

Fruits
Apple, limau, pear, nenas ,betik,pisang, apricot

Kekacang
Beans,peas,dhal....2x seminggu sahaja...sebab high in purines


Fats and oils

Slow mesti ikut low fat diet..tapi tak semestinya NO fat...kalau nak makan lebih sikit daripada 15% tak pe ..tapi kalau terlebih sangat akan membuatkan rasa irritable,agak cepat penat dan macam tak senang duduk...

Kacang
Tak bole macam fast/balanced...paling banyak 10 biji - raw and unsalted and try to avoid animal fat. Pilih vege oil or nut oil - coconut oil,flax, peanut,sunflower seed.
